 சில திரைப்படங்களின் கதையே எதிர்பாரா திருப்பங்களுடனும் முன்னும் பின்னும் பரபரப்பாக நகரும் நிகழ்வுகளுடனும் சுவாரசியமாக இருக்கும். இப்படிப்பட்ட படங்களுக்கு திரைக்கதை அவ்வளவு முக்கியம் இல்லை ஆனால்  சில திரைப்படங்களின் கதையோ ஒரு வரியில் சொல்லக்கூடியதாக இருக்கும் இயக்குனரும் அதை தொடக்கத்திலேயே பார்வையாளர்களுக்கு தெரியப்படுத்தி விடுவார் அவ்வளவு ஏன் ட்ரைய்லர், Sneak Peek-லேயே நாம் தெரிந்து கொண்டுதான் படம் பார்க்கவே செல்வோம் அப்படிப்பட்ட படங்களுக்கு திரைக்கதையும் பொருத்தமான நடிகர்கள் தேர்வும் மிக அவசியம் அவைகளால் மட்டுமே  பார்வையாளர்களை இரண்டு மணி நேரம் திரையங்குகளில்  அமர வைக்க இயலும். இதில் "Parking" இரண்டாவது ரகம். விரல் விட்டு எண்ணக்கூடிய அளவில் நடிகர்களை வைத்துக் கொண்டு, Easy ஆக கணிக்கக்கூடிய திரைக்கதையையும் எழுதி விட்டு  Commercial Elements என்று கூறிக்கொண்டு கதைக்கு தேவையற்ற மசாலாக்களை சேர்க்காமல் அனைவரும் ரசிக்கும் வண்ணம் திரைப்படத்தை கொடுத்திருக்கும் இயக்குனர் ராம்குமார் பாலகிருஷ்ணாவிற்கு பாராட்டுக்கள். அளவற்ற கோபம் பழி உணர்ச்சியைத் தூண்டும் அதுவே மனிதனை மிருகம...

After the 1000 island cruise we hit the road instantly and reached the city named Mississauga. It is 40 mins away from Downtown Toronto. Thought of treating ourselves with Indian Cuisine that night. This place is filled with Indian Restaurants and equally crowded too!! Expecting a busy day in Toronto Downtown we went to bed early that night. N ext Morning w e started a bit late around 10am  just to avoid the rush hour traffic and reached Toronto Downtown at 11:00. When enquired at the Hotel reception we were advised to visit handful of places which pretty much seemed easy to cover. There were loads of parking garages available so we comfortably parked closer to CN Tower and walked there to get the tickets. Heat Advisory was issued on that day but looking at the temperature (closer to 90 F) we thought it isn't going to affect us much but we were wrong.  After Spending a day at Montreal our next main attraction to be visited was Toronto. It requires 5 plus hours on the road so we decided to visit Kingston which is on the way. We drove 3 hours and reached Fort Henry around noon. It comes under National Historic Site and is situated in an elevated place so you could have a beautiful ariel view of Lake Ontario. We took a self guided tour of the Fort so we could move on our own phase. You need to purchase the tickets for the entry and it wasn't crowded. we could experience the life of a soldier here. Various sections of the fort such as Kitchen, Dining Area, Officers' room and Class rooms is maintained just like it was in the past. We get to see the Parade which lasts for 20 mins and the bunker too. After Spending couple of hours at the Fort we drove about 30mins to Kingston Downtown with the plan of visiting Kingston Penitentiary . இயக்குனர் யுவராஜ் தயாளனின் நான்காவது படைப்பு ஆனால் முதல் வெற்றிப் படம் "இறுகப்பற்று".  Netflix-ல் ரிலீஸ் ஆனது முதல் பலர் என்னிடம் "படம் பாத்தாச்சா?" "எப்போ Review போடுவீங்க?" என்று மெசேஜ் அனுப்பிக் கொண்டே இருந்தார்கள். இதோ உங்களுக்காக எனது எண்ணங்களை பதிவிடுகிறேன். படத்தில் மூன்று தம்பதியர்கள் வருகிறார்கள். அவர்களின் மண வாழ்க்கையில் பிரச்சனைகள் முளைக்கிறது அவர்களைத்தவிர மற்றவர்களுக்கு ஏன் படம் பார்க்கும் நமக்கும் கூட "இதெல்லாம் பெரிய problem-ஆ" என்று எண்ணத் தோன்றுகிறது இருந்தாலும் இச்சிறிய பிரச்சனைகள் எவ்வாறு பூதாகரமாக மாறும், இதற்கு மூல காரணங்கள் என்னென்ன என்று " Marriage Councilor" ஆக வரும் சிரத்தா-வின் மூலம் இயக்குனர் சொல்லி இருக்கும் விளக்கங்கள் அற்புதம். "Live Commentary" கொடுத்துக் கொண்டே படம் பார்க்கும் என்னை போன்றவர்களையும் நச் வசனங்கள் மூலம் அங்கங்கே வாயை மூட வைத்து விடுகிறார் இயக்குனர். படம் முழுக்க அழுது கொண்டே இருக்கும் திவ்யாவை பார்க்க உங்களுக்கு கோபம் வந்ததா?, மனைவியைத்  திட்டும் விதார்த்தை பார்க்க எரிச்சல் வந்ததா...

One day of sight seeing in New York needed 2 days of resting!! So that's what we did. We spent a day relaxing in New Jersey visiting friends and temples. In the evening we started driving to Connecticut. The drive was only 2 hours but the weekend traffic made it longer. After 4 hours of drive we reached Danbury, Connecticut. That place is always close to the heart because it is the first city we landed after departing from our mother land. The Hat City hasn't changed much even after a decade. Next day went faster than we thought and we had to start our drive to Canada. After finishing our lunch on the way at Poughkeepsie, NY we drove straight to Montreal, Quebec. The drive was almost 5 hours 30 minutes. The route we took was scenic and had no cellphone network. It is better to download the maps beforehand. We had a immigration check at the border. இதிகாசமான மகாபாரத்தை பற்றி அறியாதவர்கள் பரந்துபட்ட இந்த பாரத தேசத்தில் எவரும் இருக்க மாட்டார்கள் என்றே எண்ணுகிறேன். இதன் ஒரு வரி சாராம்சம் பொதுவாக அனைவருக்கும் தெரிந்திருக்கும். விரிவான கதையை புத்தகங்கள் மூலமும் என்னைப் போன்றோர் தூர்தர்ஷன் தொடர் மூலமும் இன்றைய தலைமுறையினர் விஜய் டீவி தொடர் வழியாகவும் தெரிந்து வைத்துக் கொண்டிருக்கின்றனர். மகாபாரதம் என்பதே பல்வேறு கிளைக்கதைகளும் வேறுபட்ட கதைமாந்தர்களும்  அடங்கிய கருவூலம் என்று  பலர் கூறி கேள்வி பட்டிருக்கிறேன் ஆனால் இன்று எழுத்தாளர் ஜெயமோகன் எழுதிய 26 புத்தகங்கள் அடங்கிய 25,000 பக்கங்கங்களை வாசித்து முடித்துவிட்ட நிலையில் அதை முழுமையாக ஏற்கிறேன். உலகிலேயே மிகப் பெரிய நாவல் வரிசை என்ற பெருமையைப் பெற்றிருக்கும் இத்தொடரை முடிக்க 8 வருடங்கள் தேவைப்பட்டது எனக்கு!!! (தொடர்ச்சியாக வாசித்திருந்தால் விரைவில் முடித்திருந்திருக்கலாம் ) 2014-ம் வருடம் இவ்வரிசையின் முதல் புத்தகமான "முதற்கனல்" வெளிவந்ததுமே எனது கணவர் வாங்கி விட்டார் எனினும் நான் அதற்கு அடுத்த வருடமே அதைக் கையில் எடுக்கத் துணிந்தேன் ஏனென்றால் மிக எளிய நடையில்  எழுதப்பட்ட ...

Our drive from D.C had come to an end after 3 hours and 30 mins. We reached New Jersey touching a state line of Delaware on our way and enjoyed our dinner at A2B. Our palate and stomach can tolerate burgers and sandwiches only one time a day!!! (If there is no Indian restaurants in the vicinity we should at least look for Chinese or Mexican). We stayed at our friend's place for the night with the plan of visiting New York city the next day. We boarded NJ transit around 10:00 in the morning at Edison station. Parking was available and not free . The round trip costs around $20 for an adult. we reached our destination Penn Station, NY after an hour. AMTRAK is also in service which costs more with lesser commute time. As we all know New York city is all about busy streets and sub-way trains.
